It gets to know you in a short chat
Your answers become text files on your Mac. Lore also sets up the rules, hooks and skills that let Claude pick up where you left off.

Lore sets up Claude Code to remember you, answer on WhatsApp, and keep its memory in plain files you own.

Three steps. You can change any of them later in Settings.
You use Claude Code's own sign-in. Lore never sees your password or tokens.
A short chat builds your dossier: plain files in a folder you pick.
This links a WhatsApp number. Then you can text it or send a voice note from anywhere.

You link WhatsApp with a QR code, through the open-source claude-whatsapp-relay. It reacts 👀 when it gets your message and ✅ when it is done.

Only you, unless you add someone. Describe a person or a group in plain words and pick a role: Draft (you approve each reply) or Reply (it answers on its own).

If your Mac breaks, your dossier is still on GitHub. One private repo, connected with GitHub's own sign-in.

One Settings page for every part. Change one part, and the rest stays. When a chat gets full, Lore starts a fresh one with a short hand-off note. Your dossier files stay as they are.

Screens from the beta build, in demo mode.
Lore has no cloud of its own and no account. Your dossier is a folder of text files you can open, edit, copy or delete.
Lore is free to start. It runs on your own Claude plan, which you pay to Anthropic.
A paid Claude plan that includes Claude Code, such as Pro or Max. You sign in with Claude Code itself. Codex support is planned, not built yet.
No. Lore is a Mac app (macOS 14 or later). The free guide covers Mac and Linux (Linux without voice replies), but not Windows. Read the guide
Yes, it can. The WhatsApp link is an unofficial client, which breaks WhatsApp's terms. Use a second number, such as a cheap prepaid SIM or eSIM, so your main number stays safe.
Yes. Settings shows every part in one place. Change one part, and Lore keeps the rest and your files.
Your dossier is a folder on your Mac: delete it, and the GitHub repo if you made one. To delete your beta email, email me from that address. Privacy details

I run my own life on this setup: a dossier in plain files, and Claude on WhatsApp. Lore is the app version of my free guide, for people who want the result without the long read. The relay is open source on GitHub.
